The Registered Manager of the Home is Ms Grace Peña.
A registered General Nurse, with over 25 years’ experience. Grace was a Nurse Manager for 5 years before being appointed the Nurse Manager of Lisadian House in February 2018.
Grace originates from Manila in the Philippines. Her vivacious character is apparent as soon as you enter Lisadian House. The standards she maintains are the only thing higher than her heels! The Home is filled with her affection for her Residents and her passion for caring is infectious she brings joy and light where ever she goes.
My name is Grace, I hail from Manila in the Philippines, I came to Northern Ireland in 2003 and fell in love with the place but more importantly the people. I have been a Nurse for 27 years and a Nurse manager since 2011. I joined the team in Lisadian in February 2018 and I can honestly say it has been one of my most rewarding appointments. Working for Elim has meant that I am not part of a huge corporate machine; I am able to give, resident focused care at its highest standard. I am able to take time with my residents and enjoy them in their twilight years. They teach me to be humble, to value every person in my life and to trust in the Lord. My pleasures in life apart from Lisadian are, my son, my grandson, my family back in the Philippines my most supportive partner, cooking and dancing for our residents!
